Before You Bring Your Pet

I work on an appointment only basis - no walk ins! If you are unable to make it to an appointment, please call in advance so that another pet may take your place.
During the school year, I will be open on Monday and Friday days and evenings as well as Saturday mornings. During the summer I will be open Monday thru Friday and Saturday mornings. All by appointment.
All pets must be current on Rabies and Distemper vaccinations. This is a STATE LAW! I will verify vaccination dates with your provided paperwork from your veterinarian.  Any pets that are due will need to be vaccinated before a grooming can be done.

I do not require Bordetella vaccine (Kennel Cough) or an intestinal parasite screen (stool sample), but I highly recommend them for the health of your pet.
Please inform me if your pet has ever bitten, is aggressive or is especially nervous about any part of a groom. I reserve the right to refuse any pet that I deem uncontrollable or vicious. You will be charged for any services that were preformed.

All pets are required to be vaccinated and must have proof from a veterinarian prior to grooming that the Rabies and Distemper vaccines are current.

I request that you bring your pet hungry so that treats will be a well received reward. I also ask that you keep your pet collared and leashed or in a carrier when entering and leaving my shop . This is for your pet's safety!
Please respect my home and my neighbors. Stoop and Scoop is the best policy and please bring your own bags. If you need a bag, please ask.

 Interruptions During Grooming Services
For the safety of the animals being groomed, as well as the professional pet groomer, it is asked that you do not interrupt the groomer during grooming. Every effort will be made to ensure your pet is groomed as safely as possible, but an excited pet can be dangerous to continue to work on.  After dropping your pet off, please do not stop back in the shop until you have received a phone call from me that your pet is ready.  If you have any questions after drop off, please call 655-PETS.

Flea and Tick Policy

Your pet will be inspected for any flea or tick infestation upon arrival. If your pet is found to have either pest, he will be given a dose of Capstar at your cost. Fleas and ticks are a preventable pest and I highly recommend that each pet be given monthly preventatives that are purchased from your veterinarian to keep your pet healthy and disease free.

De-Matting Policy

Keeping the best interest of your dog in mind, should your dog have severely matted/tangled/knotted hair, your dog will be shaved down. If the dog has minimal matting the dog will be brushed out for an extra fee.

I  will not be held liable for what might be uncovered on a badly neglected coat, or irritation caused by shaving short due to matting or lack of grooming. I recommend regular grooming be done every 2 months and maintained at home between visits. You can pre-book your dog's next appointment prior to leaving the shop.

Picture Policy

When bringing a dog to me for the first time, if you have a picture of how you want your dog groomed, please bring it for my reference. You may not get the picture back after the groom, so be sure it's one you can part with.

I may take pictures of your dog and use them on the website, Facebook, for advertising, or for informational purposes. If you would not liked your dogs picture used for this purpose, please inform me so I can make note of this on your card.

Bridget Gore has worked in the veterinary field since 2003 and has been a Registered Veterinary Technician since 2005. She is experienced in careing for pets and looks forward to helping you take care of yours!

With many years of experience helping pets at veteirnary clinics, I chose to move a new direction and open my own shop in my home to allow me to be with my family more as well as provide a wider range of hours for those working families that find it hard to get their pet to other places that hold "bankers hours". I want to provide high quality grooming and care as well as flexible hours and competative prices.

My home is located on the North side of Madison Street in Manning and my shop is located in the lower level of my home. Please feel free to park in my drive way or on the street in front of my home as you come to the shop and enter through the marked door. Please call if you have any questions!
